MATCH RECAP, pres. by Provident Bank: Brian White Does it Again in Stoppage Time

The New York Red Bulls drew 2-2 against the Chicago Fire FC on Saturday night.


Kyle Duncan took a well-placed left-footed shot to give the Red Bulls a 1-0 lead. Jared Stroud recorded his second assist of the season.


New York finished the first 45 minutes with three shots, while Chicago Fire FC took six.


In the 51st minute, the Fire leveled things up thanks to a Robert Beric goal. 


Four minutes later, Caden Clark came onto the field for Samuel Tetteh.


New York’s second substitution saw Cristian CĂ¡sseres Jr. come onto the field for Dru Yearwood.


In the 72nd minute, Przemyslaw Frankowski scored the second of the night for Chicago to give them the 2-1 lead.


New York’s third and fourth changes saw Brian White and Marc Rzatkowski take Jared Stroud and Sean Davis’ spots on the field. 


Once again in stoppage time, White came to the rescue and netted the equalizer to leave things at 2-2. 


The Red Bulls head back to Red Bull Arena to host the New England Revolution this upcoming Wednesday.
